I have a few new pieces tonight in honor of our party....
First I have a new teddy. I LOVE the way this guy turned out! He looks so antique, and has the cutest face. I've named him "Bailey".
Bailey measures 15" tall. He is made from a sparse European mohair. He has vintage shoe buttons for eyes. I have shaved, and heavily stained the mohair for an worn antique look. Bailey’s little worn nose is made from Perle cotton that I sanded and waxed. He is stuffed with excelsior for a lovable feel, and gravel for really nice weight. I made him a darling polka-dot jumper and dyed cheese cloth for a ribbon. I made him a tag the says "TEDDY".
Bailey would be perfect on a shabby shelf or displayed with your prim collectibles. :)
Each piece is my own personal design. I give each one my touch of unique whimsy & character.

Up next, I have 2 of my mixed media Teddy Bear sculptures. I love these pieces. They are so fun and whimsical.
The bear heads are made from mohair that I custom dyed. They have German glass shoe button style eyes. I securely attached each head to a vintage child's wooden bowling pin. Then I securely attached all of the blocks together. The bear arms are sculpted from paper clay, then painted to look old. I have attached them using old rusty wire.
Clown Bear measures 12" tall to the tip of his hat.
USA Bear measures 11" tall to the tip of his hat.
These pieces are very unique, with a lot of attention to detail. They are fun and whimsical. They would be cute with other antiques, in a kid's room, or displayed in a chippy old cupboard.
