About the Artist

I am the creator of antique style, mohair teddy bears and other animals. I pull my ideas from own collection of vintage bear's, old toys, dolls, fabrics and vintage postcards. I love the aged and worn bears because they tell a story, each has been someplace different, been played with and well loved. I create my own patterns, and use traditional German or English mohair. All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind.

In addition to being a Teddy bear artist, I'm a stay-at-home mom with a wonderful supportive husband and two little girls. We live in a 1930s cottage-style home and have two kitty cats, two dogs, and a goldfish.

I am honored to have been selected for the past 3 years by Early American Life magazine as one of the top 200 Craftsmen in American.

I was also selected for the past 3 years for their Holiday directory.

I am also honor to have been nominated by Teddy Bear and Friends magazine for the past 3 years for a TOBY award(Teddy Bear of the Year).

My work has been featured in Early American Life Magazine, Southern Living, Teddy Bear and Friends and Teddy Bear Review all in the U.S. as well as in Teddy Bear Times and Teddy Bear Scene in the United Kingdom.
